Only one team in the state of Minnesota gets to call themselves champions of the 4A boys bracket. This year, Apple Valley High School is the champion of the biggest class (4A) in the state and was led by one of the state’s best players.
In the championship, Zach Goring’s squad comfortably defeated Park Center 74-57. The Apple Valley Eagles finished their conference a perfect 18-0 and finished 29-1 overall. Winning the tournament was expected with the team being the number one ranked team in the state.
